Philosophy
We believe children learn through play. When children are stimulated in an environment of interaction new skills emerge and confidence grows. At Helping Hands our curriculum is rooted in current proven child care practices. Our knowledgeable staff follows emergent child care practices and gear programming towards the development of each child by responding to the interests, questions, and concerns generated in the classroom.

The Team
Ms. Lindsay
Lindsay is the Owner of Helping Hands. She opened the centre in January 2008 to provide quality child care. She has been working as an RECE for the last 20 years.
Ms. Sharmaine
Sharmaine is an RECE that has been with Helping Hands since 2014. She works in our Toddler Two room.
Ms. Brenna
Brenna has been with Helping Hands since September 2022. She works alongside Sharmaine in our Toddler Two room.
Ms. Jodi
Jodi is an RECE that has been with Helping Hands since 2012. She works in our Senior Preschool program.
Ms. Maisaa
Maisaa is an RECE that has been with Helping Hands since 2015. Maisaa works alongside Cassandra in our Preschool Room.
Ms. Cassandra
Cassandra has been with Helping Hands since 2016. She started off as a familiar supply staff and now works full-time with our Preschoolers
Ms. Amy
Amy has been with Helping Hands since December 2022, and works in our Toddler One room.
Ms. Datkese
Datkese has been with Helping Hands since 2020 where she use to work in our Toddler program. Now she is our fulltime cook and provides the children with healthy and delicious meals each day.
